As part of our commitment to disseminate our progress and results to the scientific and student community, we carried out the Webinar “Carbon Cycling in Maritime Antarctic Soils; Impact of Soil Carbon Sequestration” where Dr. Francisco Matus addressed part of our advances in research that we carry out in Antarctica within the framework of our INACH project “Effect of thaw-freeze cycles on carbon sequestration along soil development gradients formed by the retreat of glaciers in maritime Antarctica, Isla King George “
On this occasion, PhD Kelly Wilhelm, an academic at the University of Wisconsin River Falls, who is currently part of our project, presented part of his research on issues related to soil conservation and natural resources in his talk “Soil Development and Active Layer Dynamics: Climate Change on the Antarctic Peninsula ”
This Webinar was held in conjunction with the BIOREN and NEXER Disclosure team.
