Doctoral students Karla Erazo Mora and Gleb Uzenkov were awarded the ANID Scholarship to pursue PhD studies in Natural Resources Sciences at the University of La Frontera.
Karla’s research is directly associated with the Anillo ACT210060 project that investigates the effects of fires in our country, her thesis is entitled “Mineralogy, functionality and structure of the post-fire microbial community in soils of temperate rain forest ecosystems”. On the other hand Gleb Master in Soil Sciences from Moscow State University, Russia will work on his thesis on the project with the company Anagra S.A. experts in technologies and nutritional solutions for crops.
